GSEB 12th Board Exam 2021 Cancelled Latest News: Live – Gujarat Board 12 Class HSC GSHSEB Details, CM Vijay Rupani. Gujarat Education Board has cancelled Class 12th board exams. The GSEB board exams were slated to be held from July 1 to 16. GSEB Gujarat Board class 12 exams have been cancelled due to the COVID-19.
As many 1.40 lakh students of science stream and 5.43 lakh of the general stream (arts and commerce) are expected to write the Class 12 board exams, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama had earlier said.
GSEB had on 01.06.2021 released the revised date sheet for class 10 and 12 board exams. As per the schedule, the GSEB class 10 and 12 exams were to begin on July 1. The GSEB class 10 exams will conclude on July 8 while the class 12 exam was scheduled to end on July 10.
CBSE had cancelled the class 12 board exam on Tuesday after a high-level meeting was chaired by PM Modi. Cabinet ministers including Ravi Shankar Prasad, Amit Shah, Smriti Irani, Nirmal Sitharaman, Piyush Goyal, and Prakash Javdekar were present in the two-hour-long meeting virtually.
Following the decision and the CBSE Exam Cancellation the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has cancelled the HSC, class 12 exam.
