Govt School Teachers’ Salary to be Linked with Biometric Attendance – Uttar Pradesh Govt Announced!!! Uttar Pradesh state government has announced that salary of government school teachers will be linked to biometric attendance. In an order issued in this regard, the Department of Secondary Education said that the attendance recorded through biometric scanners will be linked with the salaries of teaching and non-teaching staff to ensure the presence of teachers in government schools.
This biometric system helps to identify fingerprints, iris patterns, hand geometry and others. According to the order issued by the head of the department, Aradhana Shukla, the information such as the time of entry and exit of the teachers and staff of the school will be digitized.
Earlier, the state chief minister has announced that biometric scanners will be installed in all 2,675 government schools under Yogi 2.0. Officials said that this action of the state government has been taken in view of the non-attendance of government school teachers in rural areas. Now District Inspectors and Joint Directors have been directed to monitor all districts, whether Biometric Attendance Registration is strictly implemented.
