Earlier, the state chief minister has announced that biometric scanners will be installed in all 2,675 government schools under Yogi 2.0. Officials said that this action of the state government has been taken in view of the non-attendance of government school teachers in rural areas. Now District Inspectors and Joint Directors have been directed to monitor all districts, whether Biometric Attendance Registration is strictly implemented.
