Govt Launched Career Readiness Program For Schools Students: The state government across the country has been taking measures to enhance the education system in government schools. Recently in Maharashtra, the State Council of Education Research and Training (MSCERT) has launched the ‘Career Readiness Programme’ for students across the government school in the state for the academic year 2023 – 24.

This initiative has been launched in partnership with the non-profit organization called Antarang Foundation. According to the report, this could potentially enhance the career path of around 70,000 students from classes 9 to 12 in schools in Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and Osmanabad with quality guidance.
Regarding this Deputy Director of the Coordination Department, Kamladevi Awate states that this program will give answers to the most affecting questions faced by the students in 9-10 grades about career guidance; this will also provide necessary tools to the school students to build sustainable careers said Awate.
