Notification for Senior Resident: Accordingly, interview for the vacant post of Senior Resident in the under mentioned respective departments of this institute will be held on 30.03.2020(Monday), 31.03.2020 (Tuesday) & 01.04.2020 (Wednesday)at 02.00 PM onwards in the Auditorium/Seminar Hall near gate no.-2 of GIPMER. The applications in the prescribed format, as per Annexure-I must be submitted at Counter 17 of Administration Branch of the Institute along with prescribed fee on or before26.03.2020(Thursday)upto 04.00 PM. No application shall be entertained without the prescribed fee & after the above said due date & time.
Notification for Junior Resident: Applications are invited for the posts mentioned hereunder of Junior Residents purely on regular basis in the G.B. Pant Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (GIPMER), GNCTD for 01 year or as per further instructions/orders of H&FW Department, GNCTD. Accordingly interview will be held on 24.03.2020 (Tuesday) at 2.00 P.M and reporting time will be 2:00 PM at Auditorium Hall, Near Gate No- 2 and application (as per Annexure – I) must be submitted at Counter 17 of Administration Branch of the Institute on/before 21.03.2020 (Saturday) upto 02.00 P.M.

Govind Ballabh Pant Institute Junior Resident Vacancy Details:
They are 207 vacancies for the Post of Junior Resident and Senior Resident.
Govind Ballabh Pant Institute Junior Resident Educational Qualification:
Junior Resident: The applicant must have passed MBBS [Foreign Degree will be accepted only after passing the Screening test conducted by National Board of Examination (NBE)].
Senior Resident: The applicant must have passed MBBS with P.G Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a Recognized University/Institution and should be registered with the Delhi Medical Council. For SR Cardiology eligibility condition is MD/DNB in Medicine/Pediatrics/Chest Medicine.
Note : If Selected, candidates should produce DMC Certificate with P.G Qualification before joining. Those candidates who have applied for registration to DMC shall not be allowed to join merely on production of DMC fee receipt.
Govind Ballabh Pant Institute Junior Resident Age Limit:
Junior Resident: Candidates must have Below 40 years on 01.03.2020 and for reserved categories it will be as per government rule.
Senior Resident: Candidates do not Exceeding 40 years (01.03.2020), relaxable by 5 years for qualified Ex-Service personnel with a continuous service of not less than 5 years, SC/ST candidate.
Govind Ballabh Pant Institute JR & SR Eligibility:
MBBS with 01 year internship. Those applicants, who have completed their internship two years before the last date of receiving of application, need not apply. Candidates who have completed their internship within two years or before last date for submission of application are eligible. He / She must have valid DMC registration at the time of joining. Those candidates who have applied for registration to DMC will not be allowed to join merely on production of DMC fee receipt.
Govind Ballabh Pant Institute JR & SR Pay Band:
Junior Resident: Rs. 56100/- plus usual allowances as per rules/residency rules.
Senior Resident: Rs 67,700/-plus usual allowances as admissible under the rules. The selected candidates may have to make it convenient to join within 07 days of date of issue of offer letter/ Memorandum.
Govind Ballabh Pant Institute JR & SR Applications Fees:
Candidates must pay 300 of the Examination Fee through Cash/Demand Draft issued by a nationalized bank in favour of Medical Superintendent, G.B. Pant Hospital, and Payable at New Delhi.
Govind Ballabh Pant Institute JR & SR Selection Process:
The selection will be on the basis of Interview.
Important Note for JR:
- Post Graduated Doctors who are interested to serve as Junior Resident will be allowed to join as Junior
- Residents if fresh graduate are not available.
- Junior Residents who have completed one year of Junior Residency may be allowed to again appear for interview for selection and will be offered residency only if no fresh Junior Resident are available. There would be no extension for any Junior Resident beyond one year of appointment under relaxed provisions.
The complete duly filled in prescribed application form along with the self attested copies of the following certificates should be submitted:-
- Date of Birth.
- Must have valid DMC registration at the time of joining.
- Internship completion certificate.
- MBBS degree along with marks sheets and attempts certificate.
- Experience Certificate, if any.
- The selected candidates may have to make it convenient to join within 07 Working Days of date of issue of offer letter/ Memorandum.
Important Instruction for JR & SR:
- Appointment will be subject to verification of certificate of educational qualifications/age/DMC registration certificate.
- The vacancies are likely to vary and may be filled in phases.
- Panel of wait listed candidates will be prepared separately.
- NO TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- The appointment and services will be governed under Residency Scheme.
- In case of interview cannot be completed on the schedule date/duration of period, the interview shall be conducted on the following working day.
- No correspondence or personal enquiries shall be entertained & the applications received after the due date shall not be entertained in any case.
- Bring all original documents along with their self attested photocopies on the scheduled date of Interview.
- Fee Payable:- Rs.300/-(Non-Refundable) in the form of Demand Draft only issued by a nationalized bank in favour of MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT, G.B. PANT HOSPITAL, payable at New Delhi. The candidate may also deposit the Fee (in cash) to the Cashier at Accounts Branch of the Institute.
- Posting of Junior Resident will be made in the interest of institute.
- Any type of discrepancy may invite cancellation of appointment and legal action as per the rules.
