Google Rolls Out New Feature for ‘Classroom’, Seems To Be Bad News For Students: The tech giant Google has introduced a new feature to its Classroom services that can enable customized grading in the classroom by teachers. This new feature will be helpful for teachers to decide whether to set a strict deadline for assignments or not.

If teachers set a strict deadline for assignment submission, then students cannot able to ask extension of due dates and also cannot able to submit the assignment after the deadline, the submission portal will be closed and grading will also be provided according to that.

On the days back, during offline class, the students can have a chance to get extend the deadline for assignment submission without affecting the grade, but this feature will be hectic for students, and having a chance that students may see this as a piece of bad news.

This news was announced by the company through its blog and also states that this feature will be helpful for teachers to improvise their workflow by setting their level of flexibility for accepting assignments. This feature will be available for all personal account users and it will take nearly 15 days to completely get rolled out.
