WHO restrict people of the world to travel Pakistan, to prevent our lives.
Pakistan is affected by ongoing endemic wild poliovirus transmission and circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2). The Global Polio Eradication Initiative is focusing on reaching every last child in Pakistan with vaccines, strengthening surveillance and maintaining political commitment, financial resources and technical support at all levels.
Pakistan is classified by the International Health Regulations (IHR), as a state infected with WPV1 and cVDPV2 with potential risk of international spread, with potential risk of international spread. It is therefore subject to temporary recommendations as of November 2021. World Health Organization’s international Travel and Health recommends that all travels to polio-affected areas be fully vaccinated against polio.

Residents and visitors for more than 4 weeks, from infected areas should receive an additional dose of OPV or inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) within 4 weeks to 12 months of travel. For this reason the world health organization, restrict the travelers from all over the world to enter Pakistan. The WHO now extends this restrictions period to another three months by bring forward the reason of it is a polio endemic country.
Followed by Pakistan, the next country Afghanistan is also struggle in this polio endemic tragedy. WHO need to prevent the rest of world from polio virus spread free. So they made this kind of restriction actions to avoid polio virus become the global spreading one.
