The IT company’s digital business increased at a year-over-year rate of 41 percent during the previous fiscal, and it now represents 59 percent of its total revenues. Infosys’s revenue from the North American area surpassed the $10 billion mark, and it secured 94 significant contracts with a $9.5 billion TCV (total contract value), of which 40% were net new. Additionally, Infosys’ sales are primarily driven by digital.

He added that the company has been recognised as the fastest-growing IT services brand in the world and is among the top 25 fastest-growing brands across sectors globally. “The cloud also amplified our agility in delivering services and solutions harnessing digital capabilities — data and analytics, cybersecurity, AI, automation, and IoT — more holistically.
Over 3 lakh individuals are currently employed by Infosys.In his address to shareholders, Nilekani discussed the post-pandemic era and the difficulties faced by corporate executives, including sluggish growth, supply chain interruptions, skyrocketing inflation, sharply rising interest rates, and concerns about a coming recession. Every one of these difficulties, he continued, “but gives a fantastic chance to shift to new approaches to acquire market share.”
Recently, the Infosys Board suggested Salil Parekh be reappointed as the company’s CEO and MD for a second term of five years, from July 1, 2022, to March 31, 2027.
