- As Ford expands its presence on Google Cloud Platform, the Cloud Platform group is looking for a Cloud Enablement Specialist to join our team to assist with automation efforts (GCP). Through our cooperation with Google, our team is responsible for defining automation best practises, teaching internal business partners (ITO, PDO, GDIA, and Enterprise Connectivity), consulting on cloud technologies, and driving enhancements to Google’s Platform.
- Working with cross-functional teams to help design and define Ford’s GCP cloud experience is part of the job description. We’re implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilising Agile/DevOps approaches, and we’re employing tools like GitHub, Terraform, and Tekton (OpenShift pipelines).
Ford India Recruitment 2021 Required Skills:
- 3+ years of IT experience working as a Linux or Windows system administrator or as a Site Reliability Engineer Experience designing and building enterprise solutions using cloud technologies (GCP/Azure/AWS)
- Programming languages:.NET, Go, Rust, Java, and more.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and others.
- Experience with Jenkins or equivalent tools for automated deployment and continuous integration
- Docker and Kubernetes knowledge and experience are required.
- Understanding of the principles and best practices of reliability, scalability, and cyber security
- IP networking, VPN, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls are all skills you’ll need.
- Good understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Virtual Box, Vagrant, and others.
- File systems, object stores, and databases are all examples of storage systems.
- Communication abilities that are exceptional
- Professional DevOps experience
