Flipkart Prepares for its Big Billion Days Sale – New Hiring Goes to Peak!!! It has been reported that the recruitment process is going on at Flipkart unit in Haringatta, district of West Bengal. This means that India’s largest e-commerce major Flipkart is gearing up for this year’s festive season The Big Billion Days (BBD) sale and is making these hiring moves.
Accordingly, it is reported that around 400 people are joining this recruitment per day. The Haringhata facility, which becomes Flipkart’s largest center, has been operational since last year. The fulfillment center has grown to a facility that can handle one million shipments per day with conveyor belts sorting goods and accommodate 11,000 people. Now gearing up for BBD, Flipkart has added around 50,000 seasonal jobs so far.

With this, the total number of employees of the company has changed to 250,000. Besides, around 2,000 people are employed in Surat for BBD sales. Meanwhile, overall, 40 to 50 million new users are expected to join with Flipkart for this festive season alone. According to some reports, Flipkart will have thousands of new hiring across all the departments to meet these requirements. Flipkart is expanding its campuses for this.
