FB Insta Owned Meta Cuts Its Hiring Target of Engineers. Popular social media platforms like FaceBook, WhatsApp, and Instagram owned Meta organization reduced its aim of recruiting engineers. Meta had a plan to hire 10,000 new Engineers for their organization. But now the company decided to cut the 30% from the total hiring plan of the Engineers.

Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg told the staff during a meeting that, “I can’t sit here and make a permanent ongoing promise that as things shift that we won’t have to reconsider (job cuts). Our expectation is not that we’re going to have to do that. And instead, basically what we’re doing is we’re dialling growth to the levels that we think are going to be manageable over time.”
