Excellent Pension Scheme For Married People!!! Will Assist Rs. 72,000/Annum Under PM-SYM plan: In India, the union government has introduced many welfare schemes and plans to improve the economic status of unorganized employees and daily wage workers. To assist employees, the government introduced a scheme called Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-dhan (PM – SYM) in 2019.
The main aim of this scheme is to assist married people after the age of 60 years with reasonable returns of pension. This scheme was launched by the Ministry of Labour and Employment and for this the married couples are likely to invest as low as Rs. 200 per month and able to receive Rs. 72,000 per annum. The department has also mentioned the eligibility entry age for this scheme i.e. 18 and 40 years.

The eligible person for this scheme is unorganized workers like home-based workers, street vendors, mid-day meal workers, rickshaw pullers, landless labourers, and others whose income is Rs. 15,000 per month or less than that and they should not come under the beneficiaries of National Pension Scheme (NPS), ESIC, and EPFO.
Each subscriber will get minimum monthly assistance of Rs. 3000 per month at the age of 60 years. If the subscriber was dead then 50% of the respective pension will be given to the subscriber’s spouse as a family pension.
