Educational Qualification
Associate Professor
A Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent qualification with Post Graduate Assistant Professor Qualification/ Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in the subject and four years teaching experience after post graduation as Assistant Professor OR post graduate qualification MD/MS/DNB in the concerned Subject (ii) Five years of post PG teaching experience in the concerned specialty.
Assistant Professor
A recognized Master of Dental Surgery Degree (MOS) of an Indian University/Diplomate of National Board (DNB) or an equivalent qualification in the concerned subject OR A post graduate qualification MD/MS/DNB in the concerned Subject
Tutor
A Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent qualification
Age Limit
(i) Not exceeding 64 years as on last date for receipt of application forms for all posts and categories of Dental Specialities.
(ii) Not exceeding 69 years as on last date for receipt of application forms for all posts and categories of Medical Specialities.
(iii) Not exceeding 30 years as on last date for receipt of application forms for tutor posts
Pay & Allowances
- Consolidated remuneration as on date in different categories is as under: Associate Professor – Rs. 116000/- , Assistant Professor – Rs. 101000/- and Tutor – Rs. 85000/-
- No other allowances will be paid in addition to the consolidate remuneration.
- No Private practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.
- Retirees from Central/State Govt/PSU from the equivalent posts are eligible to apply. Persons working in recognized/approved Private Medical Institutions fulfilling eligibility criteria for the post may also apply.
- The candidates have to attach the self-attested copies of all the relevant certificates/testimonials for support of date of birth, category-sub-category, educational qualification, teaching experience, paper publications, Pension Payment Order (PPO), etc. with the application form and have to produce originals thereof at the time of interview.
Selection Procedure
(i) List of Shortlisted candidates for interview will be uploaded on the website tentatively on 22.04.2020 from the following weblink: (www.esic.nic.in, https://www.esic.nic.in/medical/32/delhi/delhi/esicdental-college-hospital-rohini-delhi).
(ii) Selection will be made on the basis of interview which will be conducted by the ESIC Selection Board.
(iii) The result of the interview shall be published and uploaded on the web site of ESI Corporation and College website and no inquiry or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
HOW TO APPLY
Application form filled in the prescribed format and duly signed by the candidate along with the self attested copies of all the essential documents in an envelope super scribed “Application for the post of for ESIC Dental College, Rohini, New Delhi should be sent by Registered/Speed Post so as to reach the following address on or before 31.03.2020 and 10.04.2020. The Dean, ESIC Dental College & Hospital, Sector-15, Rohini, New Delhi-110089 For candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep, the last date of receipt of application is 17.04.2020. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
The following testimonials should be attached with application form.
(a) Two self attested copies of recent colored passport size photographs with one photograph firmly pasted at the appropriate place on the application form.
(b) Self attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of (i) Proof of age (Secondary examination certificate for Date of Birth), (ii) Educational qualification( Graduate, Post Graduate certificate, & any other), (iii) DCl/MCI (For Dental & Medical Specialties) recognized teaching experience issued by the Head of Institute or Head of the Department, (iv) DCl/MCl/State Dental or Medical council Registration certificate (v) Research publications, (vi) Pension payment order (PPO), in case of retired employees from govt. organizations.
(c) Self attested copy of Community/Status Certificate in updated Government of India prescribed Format, Sub-category, in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category. Candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation on the grounds of belonging to OBC category should submit the valid community certificate prescribed vide Govt. of India, Department of Personnel and Training O.M. No. 36012/22/93/Estt.(SCT) dated 15.11.1993 along with self declaration, failing which the benefit of reservation and age relaxation will not be given.
(d) Certificate issued by competent medical board in respect of Persons with Disabilities.
(e) Those candidates who are employed in Govt/Semi Govt. /Autonomous bodies etc. should sent their application “Through Proper Channel”. However, they may send an advance copy of their application along with demand draft and other certificates and testimonials before the last date
Note
- The application and the other documents should be arranged in the following order one below the other and tightly tagged or stapled on the left hand side top corner. 1. Application Form. 2. Self Attested copies of certificates.
- The Demand Draft should not be tagged or stapled, but should be pinned or clipped at the top of the application form. The name, address and post applied for should be written on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.
- lf any candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she must apply with separate sets of application forms, documents and testimonials, photographs, and separate demand draft fees for each post applied for.
General Conditions
- Crucial Date for determining the age limit and other eligibility criteria shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.
- These posts will also be advertised for regular selection
- Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate for being called for Interview.
- Incomplete or Unsigned applications or the applications received without the certified copies of mark sheets, certificates of date of birth, educational qualification, experience, application fee, valid caste certificate and photographs and those received after the last date of receipt of applications will summarily be rejected without any communication to the candidate.
- Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage. Opportunity of Interview given to candidates will be on provisional basis.
- The ESIC Dental College takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt or losses in postal transit of any application or communication.
- (vii) Before applying for the post the candidate should ensure that he I she fulfils the eligibility criteria mentioned above. The ESIC Dental College would be free to reject any application at any stage of selection process if the candidate is found ineligible for the post for which he/she has applied.
- Canvassing in any form will be disqualification.
- Disqualification – No person:- (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or (b) Who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person; shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts.
- Provided that the Director General may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this Regulation.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview. (xi) The contractual engagement may be terminated I discontinued on either side giving one month prior notice to this effect without assigning reason.
Schedule of Interview
(i) The interview shall be conducted at Dean Office, ESIC Dental College, Rohini, New Delhi. However, ESIC Dental College reserves the right to change the centre, if needed.
(ii) The tentative dates of interview are 29th and 30th of April 2020; the final schedule will be confirmed and uploaded on the website.
