EPFO Update || Subscribers Likely to get 8.1% Interest This Week! Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) subscribers will receive interest payments this week, reports said. That is, EPF subscribers are waiting for interest on their PF money. It was said that this amount will be given on the occasion of the Diwali festival. However, this interest amount may be available to EPF subscribers this week with a minor delay. EPFO manages assets of Rs 15.7 lakh crore with 6.5 crore subscribers.

The central government has approved the scheme to offer an interest rate of 8.1 percent for EPF subscribers in the financial year 2021-22. Now, subscribers can know that this interest has been credited to the subscriber’s account by following some simple steps. For this EPF subscribers can visit the website epfindia.gov.in. Click on e-passbook on its home page and enter the UAN number, Captcha code, and password to get interest details. Similarly to check their PF balance on the UMANG app users need to log in with their Aadhaar number and other details.

Then open the EPFO section and select the ‘View Passbook’ option under the ‘Employee Centric Services’ option. Then type the UAN number and enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number and the passbook will appear on the screen. Similarly to check your EPF balance through SMS, you need to send an SMS by typing EPFOHO UAN to 7738299899 from your registered mobile number. Also, the PF balance can be traced by giving missed calls to 011-22901406.
