Diwali Gift for EPFO employees – PLB Up to Rs.14,000 as a Bonus! Here are the Details!! The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has announced a bonus for its employees on the occasion of Diwali. In this regard, EPFO Social Security Organization in an official communication has announced to provide a Productivity-linked Bonus (PLB) to all Group ‘C’ and Group ‘B’ (Non-Government) employees.

This Diwali gift brings happiness to EPFO employees. Now under the bonus announcement, eligible EPFO employees are going to get PLB equivalent to 60 days’ wages based on a maximum of Rs.13,806. EPFO said in its notification that advance payment will be adjusted against PLB for the year 2021-22 and refunded immediately if any excess payment is found against PLB for 2021.

Now, Group C and Group B employees, whether in temporary or permanent service, will get their service bonus on an advance basis. However, this bonus is not available to casual employees, contract or additional departmental employees. Otherwise, employees earning a salary above Rs.7,000 per month are eligible for an advance. This bonus is calculated based on the wages x number of days of bonus/30.4.
