Important Chapters Deleted From NCERT Books – Gaining Negative Response From the Teachers!!! The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has recently Removed the Most Important greenhouse effect Chapter from the Books. The Board has Decided to delete these Chapters to reduce the load of the Students because of the Chaos Caused by COVID – 19 Pandemic. This Decision has Gaining Negative Response From TACC. The NCERT Board has Deleted Greenhouse Effect Chapter from the Class 11 Books. It’s has also Removed the Important Issues such as climate change and monsoon from the NCERT syllabus. Nearly, 30% of Portion is Removed for the Ongoing Academic Year 2022-23. This Rationalization of syllabus/ Content are done to Reduce the Press of Students in this Corona Situation.
This Reduction of the Portion has gaining Various Reaction from the People. The Teachers are unhappy with this changes made by the Board. The Staffs are Urging the Board to Rethink about the Reduced Potion as the Critical Parts has been Deleted From the Book. The Most of the Chapters of Climate Changes such as greenhouse effect, weather, climate, water and monsoon From the Books of Class 7, 9 & 11 is Removed.
The Teachers Against the Climate Crisis (TACC) has stated that, Entire Chapter of Climate Change has been Deleted. TACC ask the NCERT Board to reconsider the Decision and demands on Restoring the Deleted Chapter. Let’s wait to know the Decision of the Board in the Matters of Restoration of Syllabus.
