In 2022 Twitter was owned by the Tech millionaire Mr.Elon Musk for $44 billion. After his acquisition, he made some unusual drastic changes in the company and announced a lay-off of the top-positioned officers. Now Musk has announced the new CEO of Twitter, but the interesting thing is the new CEO is not a human. He is Musk’s ShibaInu dog named “Floki”. His dog is the new CEO of Twitter.
He tweeted regarding this announcement. The image that he shared has Folki sitting on the chair with documents in front of him and a small laptop on his table and also wearing a Twitter T-shirt. Musk also states that the “New CEO is so much better than that other guy”. He is mentioning the former CEO, Mr.ParagAgrawal. After he took over the company Musk fired Agrawal along with VijayaGadde (Twitter’s Legal Head) and NelSegel (CFO).
This unusual lay-off was once a hot topic in the tech industry. After he took over the company he made some changes on twitter. The notable one is the Twitter verification process. The company paused Twitter verification for some months to improve its accounts. Recently Twitter renovates the verification process. Users now have to pay the stipulated amount to get the verified account. Twitter has made this decision to eradicate its fake verified accounts.
