The closing date for receipt of online applications will be 27 November 2022 (Sunday) at 1700 hours.
RAC Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have completed At least First Class Master’s Degree in Biochemistry, Food Science and Master’s Degree in Microbiology from a recognised university or equivalent.
- Applicants must be a First Class Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized university or equivalent and Candidates should possess the requisite Essential Qualification (EQ) along with a valid GATE Qualification.

Relaxation in upper age limit (As per Govt rules):
- Up to 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates
- The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for serving Central Civilian Govt. employees working in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres only if a relationship could be established that the service already rendered in a particular post will be useful for the efficient discharge of the duties of the advertised posts.
- The upper age limit is relaxable for Ex-servicemen including Ex SSCOs/ECOs as per rules in vogue.
DRDO Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
The shortlisted candidates on the basis of the GATE scores (in Part-I disciplines) or SSE scores (in Part-II and Part-III disciplines) will be required to appear in the Personal Interview to be held at Delhi or any other place as decided by RAC/ DRDO
DRDO Recruitment 2022 Salary:
- Indian Armed Services in Level-10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100/-) in specified disciplines and categories.
- Total emoluments (inclusive of HRA and all other allowances) at the time of joining will be approximately Rs.88,000/- p.m. at the present metro city rate.
DRDO Recruitment 2022 Application Fee:
General (UR), EWS and OBC male candidates are required to pay a nonrefundable non-transferable application fee of Rs 100/- (Rs. One Hundred only) payable online only. There is no application fee for SC/ST/PwD and women candidates.

Step 1: Candidates go to the DRDO RAC official website.
Step 2: Search for the new registration button. Just click it.
Step 3: Complete the registration form by entering all the correct information requested, such as your name, father’s name, date of birth, phone number, and email address.
Step 4: Select Submit, then write down the registration ID and password that the system generates for you. When completing the application for DRDO, this registration ID is crucial.
Step 5: Browse www.rac.gov.in or www.drdo.gov.in’s website for the “What New” area.
Step 6: Complete the application form by entering all the required information, including your name, date of birth, address, and educational background.
Step 7: Candidates must now provide scanned copies of their qualifying examination credentials, their signatures, and a passport-sized photo.
Step 8: Review the completed application form and, if necessary, make any modifications.
