Distance Education Semester Exam begins from June: Check Details from Here!!! – Annamalai University has announced to conduct Distance Education May Semester Examination for all students from June 1 to 14, 2022. The Covid-19 infection in Tamil Nadu has been high for last two years. Classes were conducted via online for school and college students due to the infections. The exam for college students was conducted online only.

But most of the process is colleges were slowed because of the Corona virus. Because of this situation the board will conduct the May exam in June 2022.

Also few days before, University Grants Commission (UGC) announced that Annamalai University has not accreditation for Open and Distance courses and students should no longer enroll in ODL courses there. It was therefore stated that no higher education institution is allowed to conduct distance and open level or ‘online’ courses.

Annamalai University has been given permission to conduct distance learning courses only for the academic year 2014-15 and since then the course has not been accredited. Therefore, the UGC has stated that those who take unrecognized courses will not be able to enroll in higher education and will not find employment. Therefore, the UGC has specifically stated that students should not enroll in distance learning courses at Annamalai University.
