Candidates must also follow a series of guidelines provided by DU in order to finish the admissions process. The university had earlier announced the cut-off on October 1. Admissions will begin on the basis of the initial cutoff, and the process will be entirely online. The institution has asked students not to come to campus this year, like they did last year.

Professor Rajeev Gupta, Chairman of the University’s Admission Committee, has recommended students not to apply during the first hour of the admission process or the last hours after the process has ended, as these are the times when the website gets the most traffic. “We are providing students enough time to apply and pay their fees. As a result, they must avoid rushing. Before revoking (canceling) their admission, students should think about the issue. Seats are restricted, and the cut-off is really high, so they should not cancel their enrollment to any college.”

The cut-off for 10 courses in eight colleges is 100%.

It’s worth mentioning that the cut-off for 10 courses in eight colleges is 100 percent for admission to around 70,000 seats. The University of DU has also established some admissions guidelines. According to this, a candidate is only permitted to select one programme in a college during a given cut-off period, and is not permitted to select multiple programmes and colleges during a given cut-off period.

University Has Issued Guidelines For Admission:

  • Before applying, candidates must check their Marks and Eligibility Criteria carefully.
  • While applying for the cut-off, the candidate should ensure that his/her Best 4 marks or Best 3 marks should be within the declared cut-off. For example, if a course in a college has 98 percentile in the first cut-off list and 97 percent in the second list, then in order to apply for the program in the second cut-off, the candidate’s best 4 is 97 percentile in the second list. Should be more than equal to but less than 98 percent.
  • If a candidate is eligible for admission in the first or second round but could not apply due to any reason, he/she will get one more chance to apply in the special cut-off admission round.
  • A candidate is allowed to choose only one program and college during a particular admission round. Selecting multiple programs and colleges in one particular cut-off is not allowed. Also, they are not allowed to change the program and college combination during the cut-off admission round.
  • To apply for DU admission, candidates need to login to their dashboard to select the courses and colleges in which they wish to claim admission.
  • After receiving the application, the colleges will verify the application and uploaded documents to approve or reject the candidature.
  • In case a candidate has not submitted the required documents, he/she will be contacted by the concerned college on his/her registered email id or phone.
  • Candidates whose applications are ‘approved by the principal’ will have to pay the admission fee within the stipulated time.
