The Delhi Government Creates Its Own Educational Board: The Directorate of Education of the Delhi State Government has declared that the state now has its own Education Board, which was registered today. The Delhi Board of School Education was founded by the government earlier this year. The Directorate of Education congratulated students, teachers, and others, noting that the new board would implement the state’s long-awaited evaluation reform. In the coming academic session, 20-25 schools will be under the new education board, according to State Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The cabinet has also given its approval for the establishment of its own school education board, the Delhi Board of School Education, on March 6, 2021, according to the chief minister. The new education board will have a governing body chaired by Manish Sisodia, the Education Minister, as well as an Executive Body for day-to-day operations led by the CEO. Experts from technical sectors, education, government principles, private schools, and bureaucrats will serve on the committees.

In Delhi, there are approximately 1000 schools and 1700 private schools, all of which are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education. Last year, the Delhi government formed two committees to draught the scheme and framework for the establishment of the Delhi Board of School Education and curriculum reforms. The CBSE Board Exam 2021 will begin on May 4, 2021, and end on June 11, 2021, according to the available schedule. By July 15, 2021, the results of the CBSE class 10 and 12 examinations will be available on the official website.
