  1. TCS has partnered with IIT Madras to offer the M.Tech Pioner Friendly Program on Industrial Artificial Intelligence:

Indian Institute of Technology in association with Madras Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) offers a web-based, user-friendly program on “Industrial AI”.

Purpose: It aims to upgrade employees and integrate AI applications into industry interests.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is an IT services, consulting and business solutions company. It has been assisting many of the world’s leading companies in transformation efforts for over 50 years.

  1. Kotak, Hdfc and Axis have acquired a 7.84% stake in ONDC:

HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Axis Bank each acquired a 7.84 per cent stake in ONDC, an open public digital infrastructure infrastructure business. Aiming to improve and transform ONDC’s digital infrastructure. Both goods and services are made available in India’s digital business ecosystem.

ONDC was established in India on December 30, 2021.

ONDC  :Open Network for Digital Commerce.

  1. National Conference of the Indian Mental Health Association begins in Visakhapatnam:

The 73rd Annual National Conference of the Indian Psychiatric Association (ANCIPS) is being held in Visakhapatnam from March 24 to March 26. Andhra Pradesh Lok Ayukta Judge P. Lakshman Reddy starts. Experts from various parts of India and some foreigners are participating in the three-day conference to be held in Visakhapatnam, Madurai. The National Conference was held in Visakhapatnam 37 years ago.

Purpose:

It aims to focus on drug and alcohol abuse in the community, stress and suicide among students, depression and anxiety, senile problems and dementia.

Theme for ANCIPS – 2022:

 Considering the growing generation gap and its impact on society ‘Connecting Minds Connecting Generations’ is very relevant.

Purpose of the day:

  1. March 25, 2022 is International Remembrance Day for Victims of Slavery and the Atlantic Transnational Slave Trade:

March 25 each year marks International Remembrance Day for victims of slavery and the transatlantic slave trade to raise awareness of the dangers of racism and prejudice. The day is observed with ceremonies and activities at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and at the United Nations offices around the world.

The theme for today’s 2022 is “Stories of Courage: Solidarity Against Slavery and Anti-Racism”.

  1. Former Chief Justice of India RC Lahoti passes away:

Born on November 1, 1940, he joined the Guna District Attorney in 1960 and became a lawyer in 1962. Former Chief Justice of India Ramesh Chandra Lahoti has died at the age of 81. Judge Lahoti was appointed the 35th Chief Justice of India on June 1, 2004. He retired on November 1, 2005.

ICICI Bank has teamed up with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), one of India’s most successful cricket teams, to launch a co-branded credit card. Known as the ‘Chennai Super Kings ICICI Bank Credit Card’, this card is apparently created with exclusive offers for the iconic team’s millions of cricket fans.

  1. To provide a platform for foreign business representatives at SKICC in Srinagar Gulf Investment Summit:

Purpose:

  1. Entrepreneurship Institute of India (IIE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Rural Development:

IIE signs Memorandum of Understanding with MoRD to enhance the impact of the Start-up Rural Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP).

Purpose of this Agreement:

The Start-up Rural Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP), a subsidiary of the National Rural Livelihood Movement (NRLM), aims to improve employment opportunities in rural India, especially for unemployed rural people through self-employment avenues.

  1. Prale Montal has been appointed Interim MD and CEO of CSB Bank:

The Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of Prale Mondal as the Interim Managing Director and CEO of CSB Bank.

He is currently the Managing Director of CSB Bank. The post of MD and CEO of CSB Bank was vacant after CVR Rajendran, full time MD and CEO of CSB Bank, announced his early retirement due to health reasons (March 31, 2022). The Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of Braille for a period of three months from April 1 or until the appointment of CSP Bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

  1. Stephen Wilhide, creator of the GIF format, has died:

Stephen Wilhide, creator of the Graphics Interchange Format (GIF), has died at the age of 74 from Covit-19-related problems. Wilhight developed the graphics interchange format, or GIF, in 1987 while working at Compuser. The Oxford American Dictionary declared GIF the 2012 Word of the Year. He was awarded the Web Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.

  1. Phone tracking service has been launched under the Central Government’s CEIR scheme:

To facilitate the detection and detection of lost and stolen mobile phones, the Central Equipment Identity Record (CEIR) program has been gradually launched in Delhi, Mumbai and Maharashtra Licensed Service Areas (LSAs).

Purpose:

CEIR is a multi-stakeholder organization in which stakeholders, including the telecommunications industry, telecommunications service providers, police, mobile phone manufacturers and mobile phone subscribers, have limited access to their limited roles and responsibilities.
