  1. March 21 is International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination:

  1. NCRTC launches India’s first express train for Delhi-Meerut route:

  1. President Ramnath Govind presents the Padma Awards 2022 at the Civil Investment Festival-I:
  • President Ramnath Govind presents two Padma Vibhushans, eight Padma Bhushans and 54 Padma Shri awards for the year 2022 at the Civil Investment Ceremony-I on March 28 at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

  1. NATO Military Training ‘Gold Response 2022’ Launched in Norway:
  • The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has organized a massive military exercise called ‘Gold Response 2022’ in Norway from March 14, 2022. And it will continue until April 01, 2022. The exercise is held every second year in Norway for NATO allies.
  • Partners Gold Response is a long-planned and defensive exercise in which Norway and its allies train in defending Norway against external threats. The exercise was planned and announced long before the war in Ukraine.
