National Digital Health Blueprint report
  • Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare released the National Digital Health Blueprint (NDHB) report in the public domain for inputs from various stakeholders.
  • The vision of NDHB is to create a National Digital Health Eco-system that supports Universal Health Coverage in an efficient, accessible, inclusive, affordable, timely and safe manner, through provision of a wide-range of data, information and infrastructure services, duly leveraging open, interoperable, standards-based digital systems, and ensuring the security, confidentiality and privacy of health-related personal information.

MADHYA PRADESH

1st international flight from Indore leaves for Dubai
  • In Madhya Pradesh, the first international flight from Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar International Airport of Indore left for Dubai with 153 passengers on board. The non-stop flight has fulfilled a long-standing desire from the travel fraternity and tourists for direct connectivity to the Gulf.

France President announces creation of a new space force command
  • French President Emmanuel Macron announced the creation of a new national military space force command that will eventually be part of his country’s air force. He called the renewed military focus on space a “true national security issue”.
Russia sends telescope into space
  • Russia launched a space telescope from the cosmodrome in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, in a joint project with Germany. Since 2011, Russia has been the only country capable sending teams to the International Space Station (ISS). The next launch to the ISS is scheduled for July 20 and will carry an Italian and US astronauts together with a Russian cosmonaut.

Governor of Himachal Pradesh
  • President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Kalraj Mishra as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
Governor of Gujarat
  • Acharya Devvrat has been transferred from Himachal Pradesh and appointed as the Governor of Gujarat.

SCHEMES

“Museum Grant Scheme”
  • Ministry of Culture provides financial assistance under “Museum Grant Scheme” to the State Governments and Societies, Autonomous bodies, Local Bodies and Trusts registered under the Societies Act, for setting up new Museums and to strengthen and modernize the existing museums at the Regional, State and District level. The maximum amount of financial assistance which may be given would be 80% of the total project cost.

ATP rankings
  • Novak Djokovic’s remained at world number one in the latest ATP rankings released. He is now 4,500 points clear of second-ranked Rafael Nadal who is just 485 points ahead of Federer.
ICC ODI rankings
  • Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah today retained their number one position in the ICC batsmen and bowlers’ rankings for the One-Day Internationals, following the conclusion of the World Cup. In the team Rankings, England have increased their lead over India to three points after their maiden World Cup triumph.

SPORTS

International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup
  • India has bagged six medals, including two Gold, on day two of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup at Suhl in Germany. India bagged two Gold and one Silver medal in the Women’s 10-metre Air Rifle event at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany. India remain at the top of the medals tally with 14 medals, six Gold, six Silver and two Bronze. China is second with two Gold and a total of six medals.
