- China successfully launches new meteorological satellite
- FY-3E satellite launched from Jiguan Satellite Launch Center in China by Long March 4C rocket
- Benefit: This satellite will help improve weather forecast and monitor sea temperature.
- Designed to operate for 8 years, FY-3E is reported to monitor global glaciers, seawater temperatures, and natural disasters.
- It has been reported that the gap in the collection of astronomical data will be eliminated by this satellite

The 52nd International Film Festival (IFFI) is set to take place in Goa
- Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javdekar unveiled the terms and poster for the 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India. It is scheduled to be held in Goa from November 20 to 28 this year

Section 66A of the Information Technology Act
