Germany unveils World’s First Hydrogen Train

Odia scientist Debasisa Mohanty appointed as Director of National Institute of Immunology (NII)

  • NII was established on 24 June 1981, with Prof. M. G. K. Menon as Chairman of its governing body.
  • The National Institute of Immunology (NII) is an autonomous research institute located in New Delhi, under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) for research in immunology.
  • It has its origins in the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)–World Health Organization (WHO) Research & Training Centre in Immunology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, which was merged with NII in 1982.

  • Syed Sibtey Razi was born in 7 March 1939.
  • Syed Sibtey Razi was an Indian politician belonging to the Indian National Congress.
  • On1969 he joined in Uttar Pradesh Youth Indian National Congress.
  • Then he became the leader of Youth Indian National Congress in 1971.
  • He was a member of Rajya Sabah in 1980-1985.then in second term on 1988-1992 and third term on 1992-1998.
  • He also served as a Governor of Assam and Jharkhand.
  • He became the 4th Governor of Jharkhand on 10th December 2004 to till 25th July 2009.
  • He was passed away at the age of 83 on August 2022.
