A new website of Central Anti-Corruption System was introduced

  • Prime Minister Modi launched the website of Central Anti-Corruption Bureau’s Complaint Management System in Delhi.
  • New website launched on Anti-Bribery Awareness Week and our emphasis on self-reliance in the security sector will lead to less chance of frauds.

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy inaugurates sixth edition of Ganga Utsav in New Delhi

  • One of the main objectives of Ganga Utsav 2022 is to celebrate our rivers and spread awareness on the significance of river rejuvenation across river basins in India.
  • In order to dedicate the 75 years of Indian Independence, the event is taking place simultaneously at more than 75 locations in various states to establish and promote Namami Gange as a special event.


Indian Army approves five Make -2 projects providing Impetus to Atma Nirbhaarta

  • Indian Army has approved Project Sanction Orders for five Make -2 projects providing Impetus to Atma Nirbhaarta.Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan or Self-reliant India campaign is the vision of new India with the aim to make the country and its citizens self-reliant in all categories.
  • Make -2 projects are essentially Industry funded projects involving design, development and innovative solutions by Indian vendors for development of prototypes.

President Inaugurate and lays the foundation stone for various project in sikkim

  • President inaugurates the Atal Setu viaduct connecting West Bengal and Sikkim at Rangpo on National Highway 10.
  • The President will lay the foundation stone for the National Institute of Technology, Khamdong, East Sikkim.

Joint Military Training-2022

  • On 03 November 2022, the 11th edition of the annual Joint Military Training (JMT) between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Royal Singapore Air Force (RSAF) commenced at Air Force Station, Kalaikunda.
  • The two Air Forces have resumed this training after a gap of two years. This edition of JMT would be conducted over a period of six weeks. The bilateral phase of the exercise will be conducted from 09 to 18 November 2022 and will see the two Air Forces engage in advanced air combat simulations.

New prime minister was elected in Israel

  • Israel held general elections on November 2, 2022. The election was the 5th general election in 4 years and the competition between Benjamin Nathan and Yair Labit.
  • Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was re-elected Prime Minister with the highest number of votes cast in the election.

Mobile app was Launched in consumer shops in Chennai

  • On behalf of the Food Department, Tamil Nadu Minister R. Chakrapani introduced a mobile application for the officers who inspect Ration shops in Chennai.
  • Each revenue officer is made to inspect the ration shops through the mobile app In order to avoid public waiting in the crowd while inspect the vending machine.

Introduction of e-FIR system in Karnataka

  • Karnataka Police has introduced a fully electronic First Information Report (FIR) filing system for vehicle thefts by linking the vehicle database for vehicle registration and the Aadhaar system for electronic signatures.
  • With the e-FIR system for vehicle registration, citizens do not need to go to the police station to report crimes like theft and loss of vehicles.

The RISAT-2 satellite returns to Earth

  • A 300 kg RISAT-2 satellite was launched on April 20, 2009 by PSLV-C12 rocket.
  • The satellite was tracked by the Multi-Object Tracking Radar at Sriharikota, now after 13½ years , the RISAT-2 satellite has re-entered the gravitational field in an uncontrolled manner.
  • The RISAT-2 satellite is also predicted to crash into the Indian Ocean near Jakarta, Indonesia.

  • ESO engaged in research on astronomy. Astronomers at the European Observatory have discovered a star 8 times larger than the Sun that exploded 11,000 years ago.

  • Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) NITI Aayog launched the fourth edition of ‘Innovations for You’ coffee table book and the 75 women entrepreneurs are supported by Atal Incubation Centers (AICs) of AIM, NITI Aayog.
  • ‘Innovations For You’ is a Coffee Table Book series with 3 editions being released previously. The first edition was focused on the Healthcare sector; the second on Agriculture and the Allied sector and the third on Transport and Mobility.

Asian Chess Championship Tournament 2022

  • The Asian Chess Championship series was held in Delhi for 9 rounds starting on 26th of october,2022 . 142 players from 13 countries including India, Australia, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh and Kazakhstan participated in this series which was held in two categories namely open category and women’s category.
