On 03 November 2022, the 11th edition of the annual Joint Military Training (JMT) between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Royal Singapore Air Force (RSAF) commenced at Air Force Station, Kalaikunda.
The two Air Forces have resumed this training after a gap of two years. This edition of JMT would be conducted over a period of six weeks. The bilateral phase of the exercise will be conducted from 09 to 18 November 2022 and will see the two Air Forces engage in advanced air combat simulations.

Karnataka Police has introduced a fully electronic First Information Report (FIR) filing system for vehicle thefts by linking the vehicle database for vehicle registration and the Aadhaar system for electronic signatures.
With the e-FIR system for vehicle registration, citizens do not need to go to the police station to report crimes like theft and loss of vehicles.

A 300 kg RISAT-2 satellite was launched on April 20, 2009 by PSLV-C12 rocket.
