Following this Vasudha Gupta has appointed as the director general of All India Radio
Earlier she was the director general in the Press Information Bureau.
She has served over 32 years in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
Vasudha Gupta also helped in the introduction of social media platforms in regional languages through All India Radio.

Union Minister has launched Central Armed police Forces eAwas web portal in New Delhi.
This portal leads to increase the Housing Satisfaction Ratio (HSR) among the paramilitary personnel.
To bring transparency and ensure the implementation of the revised policy for allotting the accommodation.
This portal was developed with the system of the General Pool Residential Accommodation.
Central Armed police Forces personnel can apply for the registration through online.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejiriwal has launched a virtual school.
The application process for the virtual school has began for the classes 9-12.
This platform of schooling will be open for the student across India.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejiriwal has said that this portal will educate the student who cannot go to school and for the student facing the obstacles,
He added that the classes will be online and recorded lectures will also be uploaded.

He ruled over Nerkattumseval, situated in the Sankarankoil taluk, Tenkasi,formerly Tirunelveli Tamil Nadu.
His father is Chitraputra Thevan and mother is Sivagnanam Nachiyar.
India’s first ever freedom fighter – ”Puli Thevar” of Tamil Nadu.
He is a notable fighting person against East India Company.
Puli Thevar died on 6 October 1767
