India’s 1st ever online, centralised NDSO to be launched
- Home Minister Rajnath Singh will launch India’s first ever online and centralised National Database on Sexual Offenders (NDSO) in New Delhi. With this, India will become the ninth country in the world to maintain such a database.
Ordinance banning the practice of instant triple talaq promulgated
- President Ram Nath Kovind has promulgated an Ordinance banning the practice of instant triple talaq.

BSE, NSE to conduct mock trading in commodity derivatives segments
- Leading stock exchanges BSE and NSE will conduct mock trading in commodity derivatives segments in order to familiarize brokers with the trading systems.
Government hikes interest rate of small savings between 30 to 40 basis points
- Government hiked interest rate of small savings between 30 to 40 basis points for third quarter of current financial year starting from 1st of next month.
- The interest rate of one to three year time period has been increased by 30 basis points and five year time period by 40 basis points.

Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojna
- The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has approved a new scheme – Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojna for Insured Persons covered under the Employees’ State Insurance Act.
- This scheme is a relief payable in cash directly to their Bank Account in case of unemployment and while they search for new engagement.
