Chennai To Bangalore Train Travel In Just 4 Hours?? Railway Approves Speed Increment to 130 KMPH: The recent approval of the Indian Railway has brought glad news for the frequent train travelers between Bangalore and Chennai. As of now, the trains between Arakkonam and Jolarpettai station will function at 110 kmph, now the railways approved the speed increment to 130 kmph.

According to the report, this will drastically reduce the travel time between these cities to four hours, this covers over 144 KM of stretch and will also bring time reduction to certain trains that run to Bangalore. The report states that 124 trains with Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) are now allowed to run at these increased speeds.
The Chennai to Bangalore travel by 4 hours will be carried by Vande Bharat Express, this is a serious impact on the time reduction whereas in other trains the time will be reduced by 25 minutes. The Railways are permitted to run the train at this new speed from next week onwards. This is a piece of happy news for the traveler as they can reduce their travel timings.
