CBSE Syllabus to be Introduced in Govt Schools??? Know the Announcement from Govt of Pondicherry!!! The government has approved the implementation of the CBSE curriculum in all the government schools in the Union Territory of Puducherry. In Puducherry, classes and exams are being conducted for school students under the Tamil Nadu Education Department syllabus.
The Puducherry government has decided to implement a new curriculum for all government school students in the coming year 2023. Accordingly, it has been informed that the CBSE syllabus will be implemented in government schools instead of the Tamil Nadu Education Board syllabus.

Now, government schools have been advised to submit applications for CBSE syllabus affiliation. Also, the education department has directed that the higher secondary schools should submit relevant documents for upgradation to CBSE schools.
