Prime Minister Narendra Modi held meetings with union ministers, cabinet secretaries, and other stakeholders to address the circumstances surrounding the Class 12 board exams and to go over all of the exam possibilities. Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of Finance, are among those attending the meeting.
The decision on Class 12 CBSE Exams, according to the Prime Minister, was made in the best interests of students. COVID-19 has impacted the academic calendar, and the problem of Board Exams has caused significant worry among students, parents, and instructors, which he believes must be addressed.
The Covid problem, according to the PM, is a “dynamic scenario” across the country. While the country’s population is decreasing and some states are effectively handling the problem through micro-containment, some states have chosen for a lockdown. Students, parents, and teachers are obviously concerned about the students’ health in such a situation. According to PM, students should not be forced to sit exams under such challenging circumstances.
