Burnout is a syndrome resulting from chronic workplace stress. This burnout manifests itself through physical fatigue, engagement with work and colleagues, and cynicism. It usually comes down to how tired employees are between each shift, whether in the office or working from home. At the same time, a Simon Fraser University study found that while employees enjoy increased pay satisfaction, dignity in the workplace, reduced travel time, breaks, and time spent with family by working from home, they do not focus on physical health.
