Bihar Cabinet Approves To The Hiring Of 75543 Policemen!!!! The Bihar cabinet approved to establish 75543 vacancies for cops under various categories on Tuesday in an effort to reach its goal of creating 10 lakh jobs in the state. 13 agendas were all approved by the cabinet.
Speaking to reporters about the cabinet’s decisions, additional chief secretary S Siddharth revealed that the first phase of the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) Dial 112 will have 7808 roles for both police and non-police cadre. The state administration has made the decision to appoint officers directly to 48447 positions in order to strengthen the police force and fulfill the demands of the expanding population.

The additional chief secretary stated, “The cabinet has also approved 19288 posts under ERSS phase 2 recruitment. On February 27, 2022, at the Police Week ending event, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated that the state government aimed to raise the ratio of police officers to one lakh people in the state from 165 to 170.
