45 years last date for advertisement.
BHU Assistant Professor Eligibility:
BHU Qualification:
- High School and Intermediate (10+2) with Sanskrit as one of the Subject
- A good academic record, with a PhD Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed)
- BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering/ Virtual Instrumentation Engineering/Process Instrumentation Engineering/Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Power Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering/ with 60% or 7.75 grade.
Desirable: Experience of conducting Research Projects (or) Minimum 3 Years experience in Higher education
Desirable:
- GATE Qualified with good score
- Experience of Web Designing, Data Processing, Basic knowledge of hardware etc
- Experience of Designing and maintaining computer Lab and also the other labs.
- Knowledge of Sanskrit Language and practical knowledge of Vedic Science

BHU Selection Process:
The Selection procedure for teaching and non-teaching posts in Vedic Vigyan Kendra shall be applicable as per UGC norms.
Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for interview. More stringent criteria including holding written test may be applied for short-listing the candidates to be called for interview. Applicants having higher qualification and merit or higher marks in the written test will be given preference in case of Group A posts.
