Bank Remains Closed On These Days: All the public and private sector banks in the country is remains closed on April 22 to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr / Ramzan Eid festival and also it is a fourth Saturday. Some of the banks in the state will also be remains closed on April 21 due to the observance of the Id-Ul-Fitr /Ramzan, Garia Puja, and Jumatul-Vida.
Every year Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will schedule holidays for banks by mentioning the dates and categories of the holidays. RBI classified the holidays into holidays under the negotiable instruments act, holidays under the negotiable instruments act and real-time gross settlement holidays, and bank closing of accounts.
