Space Challenge 2021 Launched by Atal Innovation Mission with ISRO and CBSE – School Students can apply!!! – Atal Innovation Mission launched Space Challenge 2021 for school students in collaboration with ISRO and CBSE. Interested students can register for Space Challenge 2021 in this week (04.10.2021 to 07.10.2021). This initiative has been launched this week to celebrate World Space Week 2021. It is a platform students can show their problem solving ability in digital age space technology.
Students from class 6 to 12 can participate in this challenge. Each team shall consist up to 3 students and one Teach or ATL in charge. Students can’t participate in this challenge as individual member. Students have to create unique solution from any one of the Challenge Themes in space sector. The final innovation can be a physical or Digital solution such as App, Game, 3D Design, etc.
Students can select any of the themes from Explore Space, Reach Space, Inhabit Space and Leverage Space. Based on Understanding and Interested each team has to create a solution that falls under this theme. Students were allowed to identify and solve any other problem relevant to this theme. Tops teams in this challenge will recognized with Interesting opportunities and prizes at the end of this initiative. Atal Innovation Mission Director Dr Chintan Vaishnav said that this initiative is to encourage young innovators the country contributing to the space sector. And he also shared that this challenge has been created for young students for creating new, efficient and innovative solutions for specific, real-world challenges in the Space sector and develop solutions.
