Assam Police Recruitment 2023 Age Limit:
Applicants do not exceed the 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1983).
Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
- 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H).
- 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
- 2 (two) years for candidates of Ex-Servicemen.

Candidates must have completed H.S.L.C or equivalent from Govt. recognized Board or Council.
Assam Police Jail Warder Salary:
The Pay Scale will be provided for the post is Rs. 14000-60,500 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade Pay Rs. 5200/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Assam Police Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respects will be called for PST & PET. If any candidate is found to have any physical deformity as may be detected by the Medical Officer present in the DLSC / Selection Committee, he/ she will be debarred from participating in the other tests.
