Assam Govt Revised Festival Dates In The Holiday List of 2023: In Assam, the General Administration Department has released the corrigendum by revising the festival dates in the holiday list calendar of 2023, this has been released to rectify the inaccuracy of the pre-determined dates of various festivals and event in the state.

According to the revised details, the Tithi Srimanta Sanjardeva will be observed on September 16 instead of August 18, Karam Puja will be observed on September 25 instead of August 27 and the Janmostav of Srimanta Sankardeva observance date has been moved to September 24 from September 25.
The main objective of this revised list is to give reliable details from the government’s side to follow precession in official schedules. This will eradicate the earlier dispensaries and will assures the correct dates of the festival to state people, this will also helpful for the people to plan according to the festival dates.
