Corrigendum Details
In partial modification of APSC’s advertisement No. 08/2019 issued vide No. 6JPSCIDR-5/1/2019-2020 dated 30th December, 2019. for selection to the post of Fishery Development Officer, it is for information to all concerned that the Commission has decided to drop/discard the criteria appeared under advertisement mentioned above under item 5(ii) which states that ‘preference would be given to those candidates having experience in serving Fishery Department under various projects related to Aquaculture & Fishery Extension’ as there is no provision to this effect in the relevant Service Rule.
Scale of Pay
Rs. 30,000/-1,10,000/-PB-4 with Grade Pay of Rs.12,700/-plus other allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.
Selection Process
The selection procedure will be notified later on by issuing a corrigendum/addendum. The commission will decide the provision for selection in respect of any post/posts or service/ services considering the status, cadre and grade or the number of applications received for the advertised post/posts or service/ services. The list of candidates whose applications are found valid or rejected after scrutiny will be made available in the Assam Public Service Commission’s website (www.apsc.nic.in) showing grounds of rejection in due course.
Interview/Viva-Voce
Interview will be notified shortly on by the official site. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for. Candidates seeking reservation/ relaxation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation/ relaxation as per eligibility prescribed. At the time of the interview, they should also be in possession of all the requisite certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim as stipulated for such benefits and these certificates should be dated earlier than the due date (closing date) of the application.
Download of Interview call letters
Candidates will have to visit the website http://apsc.nic.in/ for downloading call letters for online Interview Process. Intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent through email/SMS. Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for call letter download. The candidate is required to use (i) Registration Number/Roll Number, (ii) Password/Date of Birth for downloading the call letter. Candidate needs to affix recent Page 16 of 26 recognizable photograph on the call letter which should be the same as provided during registration and appear at the examination centre with (i) Call Letter (ii) Photo Identity Proof as stipulated in this advertisement and also specified in the call letter and (iii) Photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof as brought in original.
