The online semester exams for engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu will be conducted from 15.04.2021 to 22.04.2021 Announced by Anna University.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Situation, The Colleges have been Closed Since March 2020. In this scenario, it was determined that the students would be passed without having to take any exams. Due to the decreasing Corona effect, it was reopened on December 6 for final year students and on February 8 for other students.
Classes will be held only for final year and research students in this case due to the Corona effect, and all other students will be informed to take classes online. The government was given until March 31 to complete all of the Practical exams.
In this case, it has been announced that other student’s semester exams will be held from 15.04.2021 to 22.04.2021. It has also been announced that colleges that are unable to complete the practical examinations by March 31 will ask permission from Anna University to conduct the exams.
Do’s and Don’ts while Attending Exam:
Do’s
- If you are using any one of the devices such as Laptop / Smart Phone / Tablet / Desktop, charge the device well in advance to last for at least 2 hours.
- Check the power plugs / electrical connectivity.
- Do ensure that proper internet connectivity is available for your devices.
- Students to be seated using a wall as a background (preferred).
- Do ensure proper lighting in the room where you are taking up the examination.
Don’ts
- Do not try to navigate from the main screen. Doing so will automatically terminate your examination.
- Do not talk to anyone/refer to any material while your examination is in progress as real time monitoring is being done by the proctor in the University. Doing such activities may lead to cancellation of your examinations.
- You are advised not to use the keyboard while you are attempting the examination; you are only allowed to scroll the cursor with the mouse to answer the question.
- You are not allowed to start the examination from multiple devices at a time.
- Do not leave your place for any reason during the examination.
