Chennai is the first place where the Amazon India launches its first all – women delivery station. Followed by Chennai, Gujarat also has a delivery shop that is the second one. Amazon opens these stations with the tie-up with their partners.
This is one of the initiatives of this company in the track of bring women to the business world. And also they want to increase the job opportunities for women. According to Prakash Rochlani, Director, last Operations, Amazon India, “We have created more than 6,000 opportunities for women across our network where they continue to thrive and excel. We look forward to help more women across communities attain financial independence in life.”

Now Amazon India inaugurates a new all-women delivery station in Andhra Pradesh. This becomes the fifth all-women delivery station in India. Through this shop only women can deliver the trading products for the Amazon customers. The director of India Amazon tells that they want to upgrade women life style with safety opportunities.
