All Schools In These Districts Will Function As Usual Tomorrow: Due to severe rain in last December many districts have announced a local holiday for their schools. In that announcement itself, the department announced that the compensation for these holidays will be intimated later.
All schools in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Dharmapuri, and Kallakuruchi districts will work as usual on tomorrow (11.03.2023). This news is officially announced by the respective principal education officer of those districts. This compensation working day applies to all government and government-aided schools.
The schools of Chennai and Kancheepuram districts will follow the Monday class schedule for tomorrow. As the board exam for 12th and 11th students are going to start next week, the education department has also instructed all district education departments to do the needful measures to conduct the board exam smoothly.
