7th Pay Commission which fixes the wages of central government employees is expected to end soon. And now most of the government employees are waiting for the 8th pay commission. If 8th pay commission is implemented the salary of the central government employees will increase. Recently, the central government employees and pensioners were paid with 34% of dearness allowance (DA) under the 7th Pay Commission.
Generally, the dearness allowance (DA) is increased in the months of january and july as 2 times in every year. As per the norms, the central government employees are expecting now another DA hike which may be with 6%, report says. Meanwhile, there is a talk among the media that, the government is going to set a new formula for salary calculation. If this may happened the central government employees will paid a high salary with DA hike. But, there is no possibility that the government to bring an new formula for salary calculation which is 8th Pay Commission.
Although, the government is still working on how it will work in the future. Earlier, the Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley noted that while giving a speech in Parliament, the pay Commission have to think about the employees. Considering this, If the central government comes up with a new formula, the salary of government employees are likely to increase drastically. Moreover there will be an automatic increase in the DA too. By this announcement 68 lakh central employees and 52 lakh pensioners will be benefitted.
