76 Days Holiday For Schools In the Next Academic Year: Every year the education department of the state will release an academic schedule for the schools which comprises the holidays list and syllabus schedule. Recently Pune education department released a 2023-24 academic schedule for their state school which has almost 76 days of holiday.
Pune Zilla Parishad Secondary Education Officer Mr. Sunanda Wakhare has released this schedule. According to the report, the schools will be opened on June 15, 2023, and on that day itself the first session will commence and it will end on the 7th of November. There will be a 10 days holiday for Diwali followed by the first schedule.
The second schedule will start from 22.11.2023 to 01.05.2024 and the department has planned to give summer vacation from 01.05.2024 to 14.06.2024, this will be 37 days. The schools may make changes to the holiday list by considering the other criteria. The board also states that the holiday should not exceed 76 days and working days for the school must be at least 230 days.
