Adani, the most recent participant, paid the first instalment of Rs.18.94 crore after Vodafone Idea had already paid Rs.1,680 crore. The largest-ever telecom spectrum auction in the nation attracted bids of a record Rs.1.5 lakh crore, with MukeshAmbani’sJio securing almost half of the airwaves sold with a price of Rs.87,946.93 crore.
