Muscat MoL has issued a statement says that “The Wage Subsidy initiative will support private sector institutions and the ministry to give jobs to Omanis. Jobs given by private sectors under Wage Subsidy initiative will receive benefits which come under Royal Directives”. Under Wage Subsidy initiative jobs seekers who haven’t worked before will get advantages.

The initiative will pay these employees wages for two years at a cost of OMR 200. The 332 job openings is distributed as 243 for university degree holders, 18 jobs for higher diploma holders, 37 for post-secondary diploma holders, 4 for professional diploma holders and 30 jobs for general education diploma holders.
