200 Big Cities to get 5G services by 2023!!! To get High Speed internet in Phase 1 – Union Minister.At least four cities in Odisha would have access to 5G phone service by March 2023, according to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who also stated that by the end of the year, 80% of the state will have access to the enhanced network.
According to him, the initial phase of the rollout of 5G services would cover over 200 major cities across the nation before being expanded to towns and rural regions. He made this announcement on the sidelines of a programme in this city.
According to Vaishnaw, the union minister for railways, communications, electronics, and information technology, “in the first phase, four to five cities of Odisha would get 5G services by March 2023, and by the end of next year, over 80% area of the state will be covered.”

He stated that March 2023 is the deadline for the first stage of the rollout of the fifth-generation services. The 5G services, which claim to deliver ultra high-speed Internet on mobile phones, were introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 1.
A minimum of 13 significant cities, including Ahmadabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Delhi, and Mumbai, were planned to be included in the initial rollout of 5G services.Vaishnaw also examined a number of ongoing railroad initiatives in the region.
He said that the construction of the Khurda-Bolangir rail line has made “amazing progress,” but that there are still some issues because the route includes over 100 kilometres of railroad tracks that travel through forested areas. Vaishnaw added that the Bhubaneswar railway station will soon undergo a state-of-the-art renovation.
According to him, the “bhumi pujan” will take place soon after the planning, design, and other related work for the station’s upgrade have been finished.
