18th G-20 Leaders Summit In Delhi: Schools Are Likely To Shut on Sept 08: The G-20 is a group of international government forums comprises of 19 countries and an EU (European Union), the forum has been formed to discuss the global economy topics like stability, climate change migration, and sustainable development, this year India is the hosting country for 18th G-20 summit 2023.
The G-20 member countries are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, UK, USA, and European Union. This head of state and government summit has been scheduled from September 9 to 10, 2023.
The Delhi government is likely to shut the schools on September 08 to provide clear roads for the summit dignitaries, this decision is under consideration and the Department of Education has already instructed the schools to observe the holiday on 08.09.2023, the government has planned high security in places like Connaught, Chandni Chowk, and Khan Market.
