17 Eklavya Schools Will Be Constructed By the Government in the State Tripura. New Eklavya schools will be founded at the state Tripura within this academic year of 2022-23. Bishweswar Tudu Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti announces that information in the event of his 2 days visit to the state. He revealed this information on April 12, 2022. At his visit he spoke about this thought of constructing the new Eklavya schools in the state Tripura.

Already there are 4 Eklavya schools running in the Tripura. The government planned to build 17 Eklavya schools in the state in combine with the already existing schools. 17 Eklavya Model Residential Schools in Tripura would be made functional by 2023-24 academic session, the Minister said. He also report that, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been laying emphasis on proper education for tribal youths as he believes only better learning can bring a change among them”.

The Minister arrange a meeting with the higher officers of the state belonging to tribal welfare and water resource departments in his two days visit. In that meeting they concern about the development of the policies launched by these two Ministries which is leaded by the Minister Bishweswar Tudu. The development project of 16 Eklavya Model Residential schools is started already. But some land acquisition problem this progress get disturbed. This scheme will be launched for the welfare of the tribal students and their education.
