Educational Qualification For the ZSI Recruitment 2020:

| Junior Research Fellow | Master degree in Zoology / Life Sciences with Zoology as a major subject in undergraduate course from a recognized University with minimum 55% mark |
| Senior Research Fellow | undergraduate course from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks. At least one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least two years of post M.Sc. research experience |
Age Limit For the ZSI Recruitment 2020:
- JRF: Age shall not be more than 28 years as on last date of application.
- SRF: The upper age limit for applying for SRF is 32 years. Upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-Non Creamy Layer(NCL)/Women/ Physically Challenged applicants as per Govt. of India rules.
